Madelein Kantzabedian McCormick
Chief of Staff
Madelein has dedicated her professional career to assist our most vulnerable populations through work in the non-profit and government sectors. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, Newark. Prior to joining Senator Rausch's team, Madelein served as Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui's Chief of Staff. During her spare time, Madelein enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her two dogs. As Chief of Staff, Madelein manages the Senator's office and serves as the Senator's chief advisor.
Erica Woloszynski
Legislative Director
Erica joins Senator Rausch's team with a background of helping vulnerable groups. Before attending law school, she spent six years working with young children, in both early childhood education and early intervention and applied behavioral analysis. She earned her B.A. from Northeastern University and her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she worked for the Civil Rights and Restorative Justice project at NUSL and Massachusetts Advocates for Children. During her spare time, Erica enjoys TTRPGs, spending time with her dog and cat, and hiking in the Middlesex Fells Reservation. As Legislative Director, Erica is the office point person on all legislative matters, policy positions and legislative initiatives on behalf of the Senator.
Aidan Doherty
District Director
Aidan brings years of political experience to Senator Rausch's office from a wide array of organizations. While specializing in electoral campaigns, he has also worked with advocacy groups, youth activists, labor unions, and legislative leaders. Aidan received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont, where he specialized in American Government and minored in Public Policy Analysis and Speech & Debate. In his free time, Aidan enjoys cooking and experimenting with bread baking. As District Director, Aidan develops, maintains, and supports relationships with district constituents, local and federal governments, commissions, organizations and other partners.
Adrian Pforzheimer
Communications Director
Adrian is a political optimist with a deep commitment to transparent, responsive government. Before joining Senator Rausch’s team, he worked as a policy analyst with a focus on renewable energy and the circular economy. He began his career as an outdoor educator, working in Vermont, Colorado, and Brazil. Adrian earned his B.A. in Government from Harvard University and his M.A. in Political Communication from American University. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, playing tennis, and Postcrossing. As Communications Director, Adrian helps share the Senator’s legislative agenda and priorities with her constituents, her colleagues, and the media.
Alex Wagner
Legislative Aide
Alex is committed to improving our Commonwealth and ensuring everyone gets a fair shot. He has experience in organizing, campaigns and working with young voters. Alex earned a B.A in Political Science and History from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In his spare time, he likes to collect vinyl and visit museums. As Legislative Aide, Alex supports the team and all departments, including constituent services, communications, legislation, district events, and administrative work.
